Regular Membership in the Women's Golf Coaches Association is open to head and assistant women's collegiate golf coaches at Division I, II, III, NAIA, and Junior College institutions.

Dues for Head Coaches are $325.00 annually (Division I), $225.00 annually (Division II/III) or $175.00 annually (NAIA/NJCAA)  and $120 annually for assistant coaches. WGCA membership is for the period of September 1 - August 31 annually. Dues not paid by October 15 for head coaches are subject to a penalty.

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

WGCA MEMBER CONVENTION - Invitation to attend the Annual WGCA Member Convention. The Convention, held in December each year, offers its members a dynamic educational program combined with an opportunity to interact and network with their coaching peers from throughout the country.

STUDENT-ATHLETE RECOGNITION - Only student-athletes of WGCA member coaches are eligible for year-end WGCA Awards. Your student-athletes will separate themselves from competitors as they enter the work force by showcasing their phenomenal accomplishments both in the classroom and as a college athlete.  These awards include the PING WGCA National Player of the Year, WGCA Freshman of the Year Presented by StrackaLine, WGCA First Team, Second Team, and Honorable Mention All-Americans, and the WGCA All-American Scholar Team which requires a 3.50 cumulative GPA. Additionally, the WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award is an award based on the average GPA for all members of a women’s collegiate team for the full year.  The top teams with the highest collective average GPA are recognized.

COACHING RECOGNITION - Member coaches are eligible for coaching recognition awards including Golf Grips WGCA Regional and National Coach of the Year, Golf Pride Assistant Coach of the Year, Founders Award and the WGCA Hall of Fame.

ACCESS TO THE AJGA'S COACHES CORNER -As part of the joint membership program between the WGCA and AJGA, WGCA coaches have complimentary access to the AJGA's Coaches Corner, which houses important recruitment information such a contact information, swing videos and player resumes. WGCA members will also receive full results from all AJGA tournaments, credentials and promotion on tournament scoreboards including on-site displays of TaylorMade-adidas Golf Live Scoring.

ACCESS TO THE USGA RULES 101 - TEAM EDITION COURSE -  The USGA has created an online rules portal for women’s collegiate golf coaches and their student-athletes. The course costs only $15 per team per school year – the Coach will sign up and pay this amount, and then will have the ability to invite all their players to take the course. The Coach can then check on their players’ progress through the course if they would like to make sure all players complete it. It should provide some assurance to coaches that their players have a solid foundational understanding of the rules of the game, which is especially important when playing competitive golf.

MIZUNO WGCA COACHES POLL - Only WGCA member programs are eligible for the Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll.

WGCA MENTORSHIP PROGRAM - All member coaches, both head and assistant, will be eligible to participate in a professional development opportunity through the WGCA Mentorship Program. Through this program coaches are matched up in small groups that include a lead mentor, who has 10+ years of experience, along with mid-level mentors.  With monthly virtual calls and dedicated programming, this is a great way for coaches step up their skills in ways that impact their student-athletes.

TOURNAMENT OPERATIONS CHECKLIST - Produced in 2018, this valuable booklet is developed by coaches for coaches. The manual will assist in the operation of your home event. Only WGCA members will receive this manual.

COMPENSATION SURVEY - Every other year, the WGCA produces a Compensation Survey for Division I, II, III, NAIA and NJCAA head and assistant women's golf coaches. This survey provides detailed analysis regarding compensation and benefits for both head and assistant golf coaches and can easily be used for member coaches' compensation evaluation and negotiation. In 2018, WGCA produced its first ever dedicated Division I Assistant Coach Compensation Survey.

PRODUCT & SERVICE DISCOUNTS - Substantial cost savings for coaches and their teams through access to our many corporate partners and their association-sponsored collegiate golf programs.

CUSTOM TEES AND SCORECARDS - WGCA sells custom logo tees and tournament scorecards at highly reduced pricing for WGCA members.

MEMBERS ONLY AREA OF WGCAGOLF.COM - WGCA members receive a password to access this area which includes detailed contact information for all WGCA members and access to member-only special offerings.

DISCUSSION BOARDS - WGCA members receive access to numerous discussion boards that allow them to communicate with other coaches regarding a variety of topics including college tournament postings, fundraising ideas, and more.

TOURNAMENT CALENDAR - The master tournament calendar for Division I, II and III women's golf is administered and maintained by the WGCA. Use the calendar to schedule your event or seek other events in which to be invited. Only WGCA members have access.

NCAA/USGA LIAISON - The WGCA and its leadership play an integral role in working hand in hand with the NCAA, both through the women's golf committees and the legislative/membership department, to ensure the voice of women's collegiate golf coaches are heard. Additionally, the WGCA has a seat at the table with the USGA Intercollegiate Relations Committee.

LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES - The opportunity to serve in a leadership capacity either through committee positions or by playing an active role in the strategic direction of the association by serving on the Board of Directors.
