The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) has announced the results of the 2022-23 Preseason Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll.
In Division I, defending NCAA Champion Stanford University opens the season as the unanimous No. 1. Wake Forest University comes in at No. 2, while last year’s NCAA Runner-Up University of Oregon trails closely behind at No. 3. University of South Carolina and University of California, Los Angeles round out the top-five at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.
Dallas Baptist University opens the season atop the Division II rankings with five first-place votes, while defending NCAA Champion University of Findlay trails by just two points after receiving seven first-place votes. Anderon University received one first-place vote to come in at No. 3, followed by Lynn University at No. 4 and last year’s NCAA Runner-Up Limestone University at No. 5.
In Division III, defending NCAA Champion Emory University is the unanimous No. 1 to open the season, followed by George Fox University at No. 2. Methodist University comes in at No. 3, followed by Carnegie Mellon University and Williams College at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.
In NAIA, Oklahoma City University tops the rankings with one first-place vote, followed by defending NCAA Champion University of British Columbia at No. 2 with six first-place votes. Dalton State College comes in at No. 3.
