The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) has announced the results of the most recent WGCA Coaches Poll. This is the second poll of the spring season, as the previous poll was released on Feb. 22.
The University of Southern California holds on to the No. 1 spot, receiving 13 first-place votes, while the University of Texas received seven first-place votes to hold steady at No. 2. The remaining top five are also unchanged, as Duke University, Stanford University, and UCLA come in at No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5.
In Division II, Dallas Baptist University remains No. 1 with six first-place votes, while Barry University received six first-place votes to finish closely behind at No. 2, a two-spot jump. Nova Southeastern University holds steady at No. 3, while University of Indianapolis drops two spots to No. 4. Entering the top-five is West Texas A&M University, who moved up three spots.
Carleton College received all but one first-place vote to remain at No. 1, while George Fox University holds steady at No. 2 with the remaining first-place vote. Grinnell College and DePauw University swapped spots, coming in at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively, while Rhodes College once again rounds out the top-five.
