The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) has announced the results of the WGCA Coaches Poll preseason rankings.
In Division I, University of Southern California received 13 first-place votes to open the season at No. 1, while 2019 NCAA Champion Duke University received four first-place votes to finish at No. 2. Rounding out the top five are the University of Texas, who received three first-place votes, followed by Stanford University with one first-place vote and Florida State University.
Opening at No. 1 in Division II is Barry University, who received four first-place votes, while Dallas Baptist University also received four first-place votes to come in at No. 2. NCAA runner-up California State University San Marcos received three first-place votes to sit at No. 3, while University of Indianapolis and Lynn University round out the top five.
In Division III, defending NCAA Champion New York University takes the No. 1 spot with 10 first-place votes, followed by NCAA runner-up Williams College, who received three first-place votes. Methodist University opens the season at No. 3, while Claremont-Mudd-Scripps received one first-place vote to come in at No. 4, followed by George Fox University at No. 5.
