The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) has announced the results of the most recent Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll. This is the first poll of the 2022 spring season.
In Division I, Stanford University opens the season as the unanimous No. 1, while Oklahoma State University claims the No. 2 spot. University of Oregon and Wake Forest University come in at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively, while University of South Carolina rounds out the top-five.
In Division II, Lynn University claims the No. 1 spot with all but one first-place vote, followed by Dallas Baptist University at No. 2. Limestone University received the remaining first-place vote to come in at No. 3, while Nova Southeastern University trails closely behind at No. 4. Anderson University and Barry University round out the top-five with a tie.
Carnegie Mellon University received eight first-place votes to begin the spring atop the Division III rankings, while Emory University and Methodist University each received one first-place vote to come in at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. Williams College ranks No. 4 after receiving three first-place votes, followed by George Fox University at No. 5.
In NAIA, Keiser University received four first-place votes to take the top spot. Oklahoma City University trails by just one point after receiving the remaining first-place votes, while Dalton State College comes in at No. 3.
The next Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll will be released on Friday, March 25.
