Fore Hire, an organization that educates, guides, and inspires both former and current college golfers looking to transition into successful careers in the business world, has announced that it will become a Gold Level Partner with the Women’s Golf Coach Association (WGCA).
“We are very excited to partner with the WGCA to bring opportunities for employment and career advancement to players competing at the collegiate level and alumnus,” said Courtney Swaim Trimble, President and Founder of FORE HIRE. “We are looking forward to continuing to build relationships and awareness with coaches and players through this partnership.”
Recently, Fore Hire announced the launch of the Women Fore Hire Initiative. The mission of the new initiative is to empower women by creating a diverse pipeline of talent that connects directly to companies throughout the golf industry and beyond. A virtual kick-off panel is scheduled for December 1 where former female college golfers currently in the business world will share stories about their respective journeys. Additionally, there will be two virtual job fairs in January that will offer opportunities from internships to career advancement positions in the golf industry as well as outside organizations.
About FORE HIRE
FORE HIRE was founded by Courtney Swaim Trimble to help educate and inspire both former and current competitive golfers looking to transition into successful careers in the business world, then connect those athletes with businesses to create mutual opportunities, mentorship programs and professional growth. After dabbling in professional golf for a few years, Trimble found her way back to coaching and landed at Auburn, her alma mater. After three years there she jumped to UCF for her first head coaching job, then moved onto Louisville from 2012-19. Trimble’s coaching success made her realize how passionate she is about helping players progress through their respective golf careers. That is why Fore Hire was created and why the Women Fore Hire Initiative is its biggest focus.
