  • Beth Brown Announced as Speaker at WGCA Member Convention

    The Women’s Golf Coaches Association has announced that Founder and CEO of Team Aureus, Dr. Beth Brown, will serve as a speaker at the upcoming WGCA Member Convention on Tuesday, Dec. 10 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

    Before founding Team Aureus in 2018, Brown spent 15 years leading national program development and adult education at The First Tee, where she established a track record of turning groups into high-performing teams. Overall, she has led more than 60 teams in the creation of programs that have impacted thousands of youth and adults.

    Her learnings from the non-profit and business arenas bring a unique perspective to the college coaching world, and her background in organizational development, positive youth development, and playing, coaching, and consulting in collegiate sports has made her an expert in creating high-performing teams and cultures.

     

    Brown is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, a Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Teaching & Club Professional Class A Member, a 5 Voices Certified Coach, and holds a PhD in Education (Sport Psychology) from the University of Kansas.
