Tomas Adalsteinsson is an Assistant Professor in Physical Education & Head Women's Golf Coach at Williams College in Williamstown, MA. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Iceland and a Master’s degree in Sport Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. He is the owner of The Sport Brain, a sport psychology consulting business, and currently works with professional, collegiate, and amateur athletes to achieve greater success in their athletic performance.
Tomas has experience working with athletes in sports such as golf, soccer, tennis, swimming, diving, volleyball, softball, and baseball, and has also taught life skills to incarcerated young men. He hold a UEFA B soccer coaching lisense, and has attended conferences regarding coaching in golf, soccer, and sport psychology.
Tomas uses his knowledge of mental performance and his experience playing sports at a high level to help other athletes reach their ambitious goals. He has written articles and been interviewed on various topics of mental performance in sport. He speaks fluent English in addition to his native Icelandic.
