The Women’s Golf Coaches Association has announced that Kraig Kann will serve as a speaker at the upcoming WGCA and GCAA Member Conventions on Monday morning, Dec. 3, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“I’m honored to have the chance to share with the women’s and men’s golf coaches at the annual conference,” said Kann. “This will be a highlight of my year as these are the folks that help deliver the next level of great champions in our sport. My passion for college athletics – combined with golf – will surely come out and my goal is an inspirational message with plenty of tools and takeaways that elevate them on a personal and professional level.”
Kann founded Kann Advisory Group in 2016 and serves as Managing Director of the organization that provides strategic communications, marketing, branding and media consulting to leaders of all organizations. He spent 25 years in television, including 17 at the Golf Channel/NBC where he was an original on-air member and ultimately the lead studio host, and was the Chief Communications Officer for the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) from 2011-16. Additionally, Kann was a member of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games Communication Committee and hosted press conferences on site.
Kann’s experience as a network television personality, sports executive and business entrepreneur has earned recognition from Sports Business Journal, PR News, Sports PR Summit, and Forbes. In addition, he is a weekly host on SiriusXM PGATOUR Radio.
