The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) has announced the results of the most recent WGCA Coaches Poll. This is the fourth and final poll of the 2018-19 fall season, as the previous poll was released on Oct. 22.
The University of Southern California received all but two first-place votes to claim the No. 1 spot after ranking No. 3 in the previous WGCA Coaches Poll, while the University of Texas jumped up six spots to No. 2. Duke University received one first-place vote to move up to No. 3, while the University of Florida and Vanderbilt University entered the top-five at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.
In Division II, University of Indianapolis remains at No. 1 with 12 first-place votes, while Dallas Baptist University received two first-place votes to hold steady at No. 2. Nova Southeastern University and Barry University remain at No. 3 and No, 4, respectively, while Rollins College jumped up five spots to No. 5.
Carleton College continues to lead Division III after securing 12 first-place votes, while George Fox University holds steady at No. 2 after receiving one first place vote. Grinnell College remains at No. 3, while DePauw University moved up on spot to No. 4. Rhodes College dropped one spot to No. 5 but received one first-place vote.
